DEPARTMENT STORES

There are different kinds of stores. But they are all for the -same purpose — to supply customers with the right goods, at the right time, at the right place, at the right price.

Almost every city in the world has traditional big department stores. Sometimes the biggest department stores take up a whole city block (квартал). There are big stores which, as they say, sell everything from a pin to an elephant.
